Festival Italia returns to Brands Hatch on Sunday 13 August with a fantastic Italian-themed line-up, including an extensive selection of special Grand Prix cars and other interesting racing cars.
This year’s F1 line-up includes a Coloni, a Benetton, a pair of Dallaras, a Grand Prix-inspired F3000 machine.
The Coloni C3 was race in the 1989 Formula One World Championship for the small team by Roberto Moreno. This white, yellow, and black racer featured design input from renowned F1 designer and TV presenter Gary Anderson.
The Dallara F191 was raced in the 1991 Formula One World Championship by Emanuele Pirro and JJ Lehto for the BMS Scuderia Italia team, with the latter claiming a podium placing in the San Marino Grand Prix. The following season’s F192 will appear too, recalling a year in which Lehto was joined by Martini who took the car to two point-scoring finishes.
Other cars appearing in the F1 showcase will include the Benetton B190, as raced to two race victories by Nelson Piquet in Japan and Australia, and a Lola F3000 car with an F1 inspired livery.
Other interesting cars appearing at the event include a Lancia Delta Integrale rally car in the iconic Martini livery, a prototype Abarth X1/9, examples of the Ferrari F40, a Maserati GT MC race car, and much more – click here to view more.
These machines will join a plethora of other demo and display cars at the second Festival Italia. Plus, there will be Italian-themed races, food, trade stands, and much more.
